Honestly, the trick is effective and the spectators over think the solution which is amazing. I was looking at the product for a while and I'm so happy that I finally purchased it.

This is one of those methods that will make you upset you didn't think of it. It's also not what you think. I don't use this as a trick itself, I use this as the presentation to my mentalism reveals: I peek my center tear, ask spectator to take my pulse. I use the pulse stop as a convincer for "entering a spiritual state" and it works very, very well. I've also used this in seance presentations.

The simplicity is astonishing. That doesn't mean it takes no practice. To me it took some time to do the method effortlessly, maybe because I have very visible veins and strong forearms. What Wayne Houchin came up with is a piece of genius art. The bonus material you get is good quality as well and the video is fun to watch. At first I thought $24.95 was a little overpriced but right after experiencing the first reaction I changed my idea. It is worth every single penny.

Interesting, to say the least. To make things clear without giving too much away: the trick is SIMPLE; your practice on the performance will be where you will place your efforts. I give it 4 out of 5 stars for the laughs and detail the DVD provides, along with the simplicity of learning the trick with "minimal" practice to start performing. The 1 star I am taking off as I was hoping for something more. Would I buy it again? Yes; the fact that it is simple -- regardless of my disappointment with the simplicity -- and the quality of the DVD was great is worth the money at $24.95.

Simple, easy and very, very effective. You can be performing this with 10 minutes practice and it'll be one of the best tricks you'll ever do. The video gives detailed advice for performance, angles (although this trick is almost entirely angle proof, which is another big plus). The icing on the cake was the dialogue between Wayne and Daniel, which will make you laugh as you learn to fake your own death.

One of the best tricks ever, brilliantly simple but super effective! Bloopers are hilarious, and Daniel's "stop" is a wonderful follow-up. 10/10 on instruction, method, and everything else - definitely pick this one up!

I feel there isn't much left to be said about the effect. It is great! It is magic! It is indescribable. Awesome, so I'll stop trying. Instead, I'd like to point out that the instructions are crystal clear, video quality is great, and as usual with Houchin, you get SO MUCH MORE. The DVD is packed with performance tips and enhancers. Putting Daniel Garcia and Wayne Houchin in the same room and filming it, is probably the best idea ever, second only to the art of magic.

The best impromptu effect ever to exist. Insanely clever and will work anytime, anywhere. Extremely easy to perform. Control 2.0 is the closest you can get to pure magic.

In the download, Wayne says that this is one of those methods where you're gonna kick yourself for not thinking of it. And hes absolutely right. It's incredibly simple and the best part is that its totally impromptu. Also, the download was very entertaining because of Daniel Garcia. Daniel Garcia's STOP is the perfect effect for when your Control audience goes to get their friends to see it.

Hahaha when I watched this video I have to say, it's quite hilarious! I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. The method to this is so simple, yet the presentation can be quite difficult. There are so many ways to present something like this. I have already performed Control about five times and I've had it for maybe three weeks now. It has definitely jumped to my favorites list of magic and Wayne did a very good job!

This is one of the best releases Wayne has made. When he taught the explanation I couldn't help but laugh. It's so simple. I use this as a finale in a lot of my performances. Highly recommended and very effective.

Yes the method is very very simple, and with a little bit of practice you can start preforming. The improtant part is the psycology (I guess that says for all magic tricks), Dan and Wayne are a terrific team and they really take you into the effect and give you a lot of tips to preform it in the real world. So, I decided to try it out on my friend. One afternoon, after a basketball game, I kept panting and told him that my head felt very strange, I also told him "my heart rate seems weird"... He fell for my bait and started taking my pulse, and man those reactions were... Even before it stopped completely he was already shaking me and saying "John, JOHN, HEY, ARE YOU OK, PLEASE ANSWER ME...". I decided not to continue, and told him to bring me water. He came back with three bottles... all the while running. I had to let him take my pulse for the next three days... So yeah, it works beautifully if you give it a little practice and the teaching is awesome. It is true you can get amazing reactions, so don't pass this up!

Well, the DVD cover does all of what it says. It teaches you how to give your audience the impression that you stopped your pulse. The teaching was in depth. I laughed my head off when the method was revealed. The principle behind this is so simple that it leaves you room for your presentation. This effect can disturb your audiences depending on how you present it. Daniel Garcia's contribution is the perfect follow up for Control. The watch stop effect can be used as a stand alone effect. You can tweak your presentation to achieve this. Will I perform Control? Yes I would, but only after I find out how I could incorporate it into my act and personality. This effect is practical and strong. I highly recommend it. Even though I don't perform it, the DVD is just fun to watch. Wayne Houchin and Daniel Garcia make a great team. I hope they do a project together. Great effect, great DVD!

Enough can’t be said about this trick. I've been doing magic for almost 10 years and for a trick to impress me is tough. Wayne has done it again. This one delivers on so many different areas. You will leave you spectators speechless, literally. It’s a must have. One of those tricks that goes beyond magic and it’s so simple, yet powerful. The DVD is great. Daniel and Wayne make a phenomenal duo. Very entertaining and enjoyable. Your will want to watch it over and over again just to see those to two work their magic. Plus the bonus, “STOP”, only adds to the impact of the trick. Definitely recommend for all of those magicians whose want to take their magic to the next level.
