Great resources. I would never have been able to filter out books like these on my own! Some of the books are a bit difficult to read and comprehend, but nonetheless, the effects are gold.

This is "the" video to watch if you are just starting out in card magic. I have watched this video at least ten times. As Jason England explains there is a nice beginning, middle, and end. He starts you on the lushly green path known as The Royal Road to Card Magic. Following this he suggests getting a copy of the Encyclopedia of Card Tricks by Hugard and Crimmins which won't "break the bank". Chronologically, we go onto Expert Card Technique by Jean Hugard and Frederick Braue. Many other books follow including authors such as: Paul LePaul, Dai Vernon, Erdnase, Roy Walton, Ed Marlo, and George Kaplan. How can you turn down a leading card experts advice especially if it's FREE!
