I'm writing an academic paper for a university assignment and in it I talk about the 7 principles of magic (palm, steal, ditch ect), and I need to reference who came up with it,
but I can't find who first mentioned that theory. The only thing google says is that Penn and Teller talk...
Chris Pratt (the actor, not the late Magic Circle member) performed a magic trick on the Graham Norton show. I know exactly how it was done, and have actually performed it with some of my own variations, but is there an inventor to this trick?

I watched this through today, for the second time in a few years. While I disagree with many of his life decisions, Dai Vernon is a fascinating character and one of the greatest magicians to ever live. This documentary is well worth a watch if you haven't.
