1-on-1 Suggestions

Is there a trhead for 1-on-1 video suggestions?

If not, this can be it!

I'd like to see some 1-on-1 vids teaching single effects from books/dvds by the artisits. For example, Chris Kenner has his book TOOC. Maybe a 1-on-1 of only S.W. Elevator?

I'm pretty sure a lot of people would like to see 1-on-1s for only some effects from books and dvds by t11's artists.

Any other thoughts?

i would love to see the ginstaire double by the bucks. i've heard its impossible but it looks incredible.

I think the following link may be of interest to some people:

Topic-Name: Unpublished Ideas/1-on-1 videos

Here are a few 1-on-1's I wouldn't mind seeing from a few people:

Aaron Fisher: Gravity Half Pass - Popout Move - The King Is Gone, But He's Not Forgotten

Lee Asher: Pulp Friction

Chris Kenner: S.W. Elevator - Sybil: The Trick

Dan and Dave Buck: GOAT Change - Osh Negash B'gosh

B.J. Bueno: Bueno Shuffle

Warm regards,
Jordan

I know this is going to sound strange.... but I would like to see some stuff from art of astonushment, but I like due to legal reasons that will never happen. But I would like to see a couple moves off of Lee Asher's three card monte work.

Hey Jordan!
What is the Bueno shuffle about?

Hi Elliot,

The Muy Bueno Shuffle is a false table shuffle created by BJ Bueno and published on page 2 of The Penumbra Magazine by Gordon Bean and William Goodwin (October, 2005).

Here's that the spectator sees: the cards are tabled and the right hand comes over and cuts half to the side. Both hands grasp each packet by the long-edges and the performer begins to riffle both halves together. The two interlaced piles are then bowed upwards and are cascaded to the table (much in the manner of an in the hands riffle shuffle, with the exception that it is on the table). The cards are then fairly squared (though they do not need to be) and the move is complete.

It is an extremely deceptive shuffle and looks absolutely fantastic when performed by BJ himself; you can clearly see a shuffle and a cascade taking place on the table -- the fingers barely cover anything. It can also be done from practically any angle. If ever I see it as a Theory11 1-on-1 download then you can guarantee I will be the first to buy it. :)

Invisible Palm would be awesome.

HOWEVER, none of the t11 crew created it, Wayne Houchin performs on taught by Paul Harris. It's not his own trick.

Request for future 1-on-1's

I'm prettymuch an all card guy, buy I'm trying to round out my magic by learning some coin routines. It would be great if T11 posted some coin basics 1-on-1's and maybe a couple of routines. Right now, it's just 3-fly.

Hey guys,

We all read the forums and we always try to make ya'll happy. Yes, they did film several of these 1-on-1's a few months ago, however we are continuing to film new ones weekly.

There will be many more in the coming weeks. Remember, this site is for all skill levels. The tricks, sleights, and moves that we put out are still extremely high quality and helpful to everyone. If we only put crazy hard and difficult stuff up, we are probably going to be chasing away a lot of you folks. The goal is to build the 1-on-1 section into a library of magic-- something that everyone (regardless of skill level) can rely on as a great learning resource.

To do so, we'll continue to add content that fits all ends of the spectrum-- from beginner all the way to advanced. So keep checking back and I'm sure there will be something for everyone. I think for 6 months in... we are doing pretty good.

Stay awesome.
