I liked the ending and the performance was pretty well done, but in my opinion it was a little stiff but overall I liked it. good job.

Everyone says i seem stiff, but when your talkin to a camera and there is no interaction it is hard to be yourself. Do you think that this is the problem?

Yeah I don't think it is you I think it's the fact that you are performing straight to a camera. Maybe try to get it on video of you performing the routine live, I'm sure it will be better

Your moves are pretty much flawless, I really liked the execution of them and I really appreciate the hard work behind them.

My only issue would be patter, if thats the patter that you use for the routine, to be sincere I was already bored by the first min, If I were the spectator I would be like "oh, let me guess, the card is already on top" try to vary it a bit, maybe a color change or a card to mouth, also, the presentation about"look a card goes to the top magically!" is kinda dull, Im sure you can create a more engaging and interesting patter for it.

You have the sleights down, now work in your patter.

BTW, I really liked the ending. Props.

Great vid :).

Thanx man I am going to work on this.

As i said before, I think that performing for a camera limits the interaction and therefore makes it sound scripted.

As for the monotony of the card going to the top, I tried to make it a short routine. It only has 4 quick phases besides shifty (which is pretty visual). How do u suggest I work in a color change? Should I just add another phase in there because I dont think that it would work in with what I already have. Maybe after the top change phase, say "I guess you didnt snap hard enough" DL to show different card, then ego change or something? My concern is that after that, how do i go into shifty? Maybe Im thinking about it too much.

You might have to rework your entire routine again, think a little about it, why did you chosed those phases for the routine? sometimes we cummit the error of adding a sleight in the routine either because we like it a lot or because we like the sleight, so you may wanna think what are you using those moves in your phases again.

On another note, maybe adding a color change or somethign different could be the option, you can still do the same phases but with another more interesting presentation, my problem is that every phase seemed the same to me, and they were kinda expected, but if you think about good patter there Im sure you can turn the whole thing up and still have your phases just that way and still keep the spectator interested.

thanx for your help!

So after a quick run thru, I realized that there are 2 stages where the spectator can turn over the top card: the one where the card ends up on top of their half of the deck and the one after the top change. I guess there isn't a need for 2 phases like that so I could add in a color change after the top change phase. the ego change is my favorite and cleanest looking one plus you're left clean.
