Hey guys, saw the preview for Angle Zero... WOW!
One Question: Can it be performed when just walking in a room for complete strangers?
Muchos Gracias :p

Please define that. If you are asking if it is impromptu, you can make it impromptu. It does require a bit of set up. However, it is the same corner of the same card. There are NO duplicates. I also did the set up right in front of a friend when talking to them and they did not notice. Misdirection is a beautiful thing. ;)

Yeah, Angle Zero can be totally impromptu if you want. I actually made the corner appear inside a woman's purse and it really freaked out the few people watching. Pure magic.

If you familiar with some old coin techniques you could, quite impromptu, have the piece appear in someone's pocket.

I've made it appear in my back pocket and have gotten reactions like you wouldn't believe.

The corner appears anywhere you want it to be.
In your mouth, pocket, under a coin, on the clock, whatever....

It's basically an "on the spot" trick and takes only half a second...

it cant just appear on a clock face, unless you set up the gimmick...

hopefully i wont get banned for exposure, but he has a large invisible thread reall attached to the back of the clock, and when he rips off the piece, he attaches it with misdirection, and then just after he shows the piece, the piece is let go and flies onto the clock hand, piercing itself...

the reason the flying corner isn't seen is due to the fact that he sneezes very loudly when letting go, for distraction purpose, and the camera cuts at this point, to not show you the whole effect!

pretty simple when you think about it :)

Please don't expose effects like this! However, once you get good with misdirection, the sneezing is not necessary.

i went to my friend's house, they kept asking me to do "a" magic.Eventually,i did this one,Wow,and this was the first time me doing this magic.

And it was so powerful that they kept screaming, just like the spectators in the demo .

U have to buy this one,of course,it's better to get the whole DVD .

In theory yes (no pun intended) its a great trick and can be done anywhere the setup depends on where you want to make the corner appear. Also if you like this effect check out Cornered by Joshua Jay its the same affect using money and a different method.

yeah it is a very good street/stage trick. I did it in a show that i did once and it blew people away and its very good on the streets to. It takes like 5 seconds to set up and its one of they simpliest and most powerful tricks in my act.

Angle Zero is my favorite effect from Mystique. For me, it's worth the price of the DVD, alone. The set-up does literally takes just seconds, and the torn corner really shows up anywhere desired.

The reactions that I've received from Angle Zero have been off the charts -- simply crazy. An extremely powerful and amazing effect.

Cheers,
JTM
