Ok , so i was performing 2 card Monte the other day and more & more people was approaching to see what i was doing , they were all around me, so it was quite hard for me to do the top change without people noticing. But i managed to get it right. So i was wondering if there is any other switch i could use in those kinds of situation ?

There are other methods but the top change is still by far the best. However, if you are not 100% comfortable with doing the move do it and keep a break under the card you swapped. This will enable you to place the card in your hand back on the deck and do a double to show that 'nothing' has happened. To me it is a little overkill however it does have a few advantages especially if you are not confident with the move.

There should be no attention on the card when you switch it all focus should be on the spectators card. Even then I still practiced the top change in the mirror to get the angles right. Watch David Blaine do this he's completely mastered it notice all of his subtleties. I'm not saying perform exactly like db he's just a good example.

The 2 Card Monte is one of the most popular tricks that is being delivered in today. I agreed with the other comments stated above, the top change is so far by the best. However, if you have doubts, when using the top change, at the very last move when you switch the last card at the end, do a double lift to ensure and put in the spectator's hands. This will be more convincing.
