You little stalker!
Back Palming, the quintessential move for card manipulation, allows you to seemingly vanish a card in mid-air, show the hand empty, and then reproduce it. Expert manipulator Farrell Dillon teaches you everything you need to know about this classic sleight and even goes into further detail...

Taught By: Farrell Dillon
Length: 12:03
Price: $5.00

Foreword
I was really excited when i saw this on Dan and Dave's site. Finally, a place to properly learn how to back palm. This used to be one of those sleights that i never practiced because i could find a place to properly learn. And now it's on my main practice list. So let's get on with the review

Quality- 10/10

Unlike Theory11 1 on 1's, this isn't a download. When you buy it, it is stored in the media section on your account. So you can view it from any computer that has internet. The quality was very good. Just like the 1 on 1's.

Material- 10/10

For 5 dollars, this video has a lot of material. You get to learn the basic vanish and production, how to show both sides of the hand empty, and also the vanish and production of multiple cards.

Teaching- 9/10

Farrell Dillon is a great teacher. You should have no trouble understanding the moves with him. He goes through everything in detail and from different angles. Although I felt that he could have repeated the moves a couple more times, but that's just me. He also goes through all the types of cards that are good for back palming.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this is a great buy. You get so much stuff for only 5 dollars. And so far it's the best place to learn back palming if you're one of those video learners, like me. So ya, I would definitely recommend picking this up, even if you already learned the back palm from Youtube or something.

OVERALL SCORE- 9.7/10

I've been looking for a proper place to learn to backpalm after their lecture. They've used it it in some of the most bold and out of the box ways I've seen.

i'll be frank, i learned how to backpalm using Youtube. there was a sleight of hand artist there called Nuts4Magic, and he taught basic sleights and moves and whatnot. Some regard it as exposure, but for me it paved way for magic. I sincerely thank him for that, though his account is now banned

Anyways, cheers for the review. i like the concept the video being stored in the media section- that is a great idea if you ask me, and your review really helped. i'll purchase it after im done with this post

Ya i learned the backpalm from youtube too. the problem was, when i learned it there, i couldn't get it for my life. Like i tried it for hours and i could do it. But watching this, it took me 2 minutes to get it. I'm now working on showing both sides of the hand

i was practicing with plastic cards. so it was a lot harder- and therefore when i turned to bicycles (i discovered that bikes are a godsend lol) my backpalm was quite good by then. though i cant show both sides, or produce more cards.

Can I also recommend Jeff McBride's Art of Card Manipulation DVD series if you want to take this kind of "classic" manipulation further.

Farrell is a good friend of mine, and taught me Card Manip in person, he is a very good teacher, and this is a phenomenal buy.
