Backback by Andrei Jikh

The Quality-
We all know that theory11's 1on1 videos are absolute awesome quality, so it goes without saying that this was just as good.
The Price-
I hear a lot of people complaining about prices for theory11's 1on1s- $5 for a new effect or sleight. I really don't mind the price, because if I will use this move, or have lots of fun practicing it (like Backpack), then I don't mind shelling out the $5. And yes, I pay for 90% of all my magic purchases with my own money, so my opinion on price does count.
The Teaching/Teacher-
The teaching on this, like everything from theory11, was top notch. The only thing I noticed was that Andrei seemed a little bit nervous in front of a camera... but maybe that was just me. I understood everything he was saying, didn't have to rewind at all. Teaching was excellent.
Difficulty-
For me, because I have messed up hands, including crooked pinkies, this has been pretty difficult. Then again, I'm no flourisher or an expert in cardistry... not even close by any means. To be honest, I haven't practiced this as much as I have like, because I've been gone the past week, so I can barely even do the cut slowly. It will be a while before I can get this up to speed.
As Andrei said, most people will have a lot of trouble with it, because it's probably not something you're even close to being used to doing (a cut on the back of your hand).
My Thoughts-
I really like this move, but it's been pretty difficult so far. I'm sure it will be worth the price once I get it down, and so far I've had fun practicing it. It will definitely be awesome once I can do it fairly quickly. I'll keep practicing, but overall, it gets:
7.5/10

Backpack is a signature move in the cardistry arsenal of Andrei Jikh. It is revolutionary in it's simplicity : a cut done entirely on the back of one's hand. Learn the exact, proper cut technique with nearly 7 minutes of detailed instruction.
Also watch as Andrei demonstrates some advanced applications (he gets Jikhy with it). The possibilities are endless.
