Hey guys. I know I'm incredibly late on this one. Just because its old doesn't mean it's not good or not in use anymore.
I'd like to start out by stating my opinion on something I've read about Blind.
*Waaaah it's no good because it's impossible to set up in front of someone.* First off that's simply not true. I could go to someones house, ask for two decks of cards and set up on the fly. It's incredibly easy to do. I can't stand the mentality my generation seems to have. They can't think for themselves. On the video, Madison says it can be done impromptu but doesn't say how. Who cares? Be creative. It's not hard at all. I know very few people on here said they could set it up, and the majority of people bashed them and said they were full of ****. /rant
Here's how I perform Blind. Let me say this for those who haven't seen it: How I'm about to describe my performance is different than how he does it. If you've read DM's work, you'll know he wants you to perform it your way. Here we go.
I introduce two decks, or they can be borrowed. I ask them to choose a deck, and to shuffle it. They do. I take it from them, spread the deck facing me, pull out a card, and tell them this is the card that they need to take in a moment. It's lost in the deck and handed back to the spectator to shuffle again. They can then shuffle my deck if they'd like. From here on out, it's the same effect as you can see in the demo video, which I have linked below.

Teaching: The teaching is very good. What else can you expect from DM? The only thing he leaves out is how to set up in front of the spectator. This wasn't an issue for me. 9/10
Quality: The quality is great, as is everything Theory11 produces. 10/10
Practicality: I found this to be very practical and very hard hitting. 10/10
Overall I found this to be a very good trick. It found a place in my top 5 tricks to perform. The way I portray what I do is through the intuition that every human has, and coincidence. Sometimes I'll use fate as a theme as well. When I saw Blind a few days ago, I knew it would be perfect for me.
*If you have any questions regarding how I set up in front of the spectators, PM me.* (Only PM me if you have purchased Blind. If you haven't, don't expect a serious reply.)
