Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I'm trying to find out how to do a couple of tricks that a friend of mine has performed in the past. I would just ask him except that he passed away recently. Can anyone help me out?

I'm trying to find out how to do the trick where you swallow a piece of thread and either pull it out through your eye or the base of your neck. I've seen Criss Angel do it through his eye. My friend did it through his neck. I read somewhere that you attach the thread to either part of your body using fake eyelash glue, but it's never strong enough to hold. Also, I never did find out how you hide the string to get it attached...

The other trick my friend performed was a variation of the exploding light bulb - he did it with a wine glass.

I have searched everywhere for the two tricks, but I keep coming up short. Is there anyone out there who can give me a hand? Please let me know.

these trick seem to be one of those "some people know these tricks" its like how some puts a ball in there eye but comes out off there neck

The string through neck IS called Saw and it is by Sean Field. It is exclusively sold at Ellusionist and you can buy it from their site for $19.95. It is a pretty cool effect and the way it is done is completly cool. It does require setup, but it takes like 5 seconds by yourself so dont worry about that.

Is the effect you are thinking of the one that david blaine and Criss Angel did where it comes out of your stomach or your belly button? PM me for more info on these tricks becuase I know about that effect too.

Can I Get A Little Help?

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to say thatnk you to all of those who replyed to my forum post.

However, while I appreciate everyone's help, the answers given were not the one's I was looking for. Maybe because I didn't explain myself correctly. Some of you suggested the effect with the string through the neck was saw, but it's not. If any of you go to my friend's website, www.whatdidijustsee.com, and click on his video you will see the two effects I am trying to learn.

Please understand that I am trying to learn these two effects to do a show honoring his passing last month, so it would really help me if someone could point me in the right direction to learn these two effects, the string through the throat and the shattering glass.
