What are your favorite tricks from Card College Volumes 3-4?

Mine are Time Machine, Miracle Aces and Cheop's Dunbury Sandwich. Triumph is good, but i dont use that version. The rest of the tricks are OK, but i dont like them that much.

That is a good'un!

There's the other great one in the Faro section where the spectator deals cards in three piles and you add up the total and count down to the card.

You know the one.

Ah yeah, Numerology i think. Great trick aswell... :)

There's actually a lot of great tricks in the Card College series. The only problem (for me at least) is that there are so many tricks, and you forget them very quickly (even the good ones)...So I think I will go back after finishing the series and re-read all the tricks and make some notes about the tricks I can see myself perform :D That way i wont forget them ^^

Yeah there are quite a lot of great tricks in there and i do forget most of them. I sometimes flick through them and perform a couple on "special" occasions.
Its all about the sleights though and most tricks don't fit into my repertoire since they require a table.

Thank you Giobbi, ya legend.

Hi kissaki, welcome to Theory 11! If you don't have any of the Card College series, just try starting from 1 and going upwards. Triumph is on either 3 or 4, I'm not sure which. There are many different triumph routines though, so have a look around and use whatever you like ^.^

There's a nice one, I think its in volume 4, called the "knowledgeable cards" or somesuch thing. In any case, its a solution to the Hofzinser 4 ace problem and I used it when working for a short while before I got started, always got a good reaction. The only reason I stopped using it was because I found a far better trick based around the 4 ace problem in Jack Parker's "52 memories".

There is a Zarrow Triumph in Vol 3. In the false riffle shuffle section. I prefer other versions of the trick that don't involve a table or Syd Segal's version if a table is available.

filth, that collectors is indeed very good. If you like the collectors plot then allow me to recommend David Regal's publications, he's done some great work on the collectors. I regularly use his "Straightforward Collectors" from "tricks vol. 3" - its very very nice indeed.
