So, I'm a beginner, and I bought two bicycle standard decks to start off with. When opened my first deck, I could notice that they had some fluid on them, some sort of oil, that would make them very slippery, and this is good in most cases I guess, like if you wanna do a fan, it really helps. But as time passed and I used my deck a lot, this fluid ended up going away, and the cards now sometimes are kind of glued to each other, and its really hard to do an even fan for instance.
Can you buy this fluid separately somewhere and apply to the cards so they are slippery again?
Is it natural that when cards get old, some flourishes are not possible to do nicely anymore? Or if you practice a lot, you'll do an even fan even with a shitty deck of cards?
I just wanna know how you guys deal with it.
