Okay, here it is.

"// 909 Edition Playing Cards

Just over six months ago, theory11 set out to create the next standard in playing card design. Our focus was dual: design and quality. The deck had to be the best of breed in both categories.

On the design front, theory11 teamed up with
WA007 - one of the most respected, avant-garde design studios in the nation - and worked side by side tirelessly for weeks. Hundreds of hours were spent tweaking and polishing the design from the ground up. Over 17 rough draft concepts and prototypes were produced. The final result is a mix of modern core structure, contemporary style, and a touch of theory11 signature grunge."

Price: 5.00, a little pricey but not too bad. Worth it, I believe. 8.5/10

Back Design: OH. MY. GOSH. I'm not flourishing with cards, I'm flourishing with art. The backs are printed perfectly, not off center or anything. These cards look like split spades wannabes online, but in real life they're eye popping. For those who know what Avante-Garde means, these cards are its effigy. They make beautiful pirouttes, are amazing with displays, and are awesome for any other flourishes period. They even make fans look really nice. I don't see how anyone could not like this design, it's almost perfect. 10/10

Faces: The Ace of Spades and Jokers are beautiful, of course, and nicely add to the already modern back design with a more minimalistic flare. The red is darkened and the face cards are all red and grey, which bothered me at first. It gave it a childish, Tragic Royalty look, but now I believe I like it more than bright red on normal cards. Aside from that, the faces are normal. 9/10

Feel: Okay, there's a lot to say here. Out of the box, they clump, which went away after some use. But after more use, the clumping came back. I hate to say they don't fan as well as Tally's or Studs, but they still are better than Bikes or Arrco U.S. Regs, etc. The stock is not thick, but the cards are very stiff. I believe this is better for cuts, but most people have different opinions on this, and some prefer thin. They work for me, so I think that's a positive.
8/10

Overall: 9

These cards are my favorite design. Ever. I think they are the best looking cards out there. They don't fell incredible (Golden Nuggets, Tally's, Studs, Palmettos, and Wynns surpass these) but the looks make up for it. I'd buy 2 decks of these to test them out, then see how you like them from there.

Nice job T11. Can't wait for the next deck to come out.
