Hey People.

I've looked at the ellusionist blacktiger decks and they look cool. i am still an amateur when it comes to card magic but i love it with my heart and I am sick of "normal" cards that seems impossible to do tricks with =)

Since I live in Sweden, and don't have any chance of bying/viewing these cards (None sells them) I've decided to buy cards from Theory11. I dunno the difference between "handling" etc, don't even know if that would make much to me.. Anyway

I've decided to buy 12 decks of Guardians, 12 of Spades and 12 of Centurions.

The reason i will buy this quantity is soly because I live in Sweden as mentioned earlier, and the shipping is at 45$ , and buying 2-3 decks and paying that shipping fee isn't really something that tempts me.. So..

To my question.. Would you advice me to buy something else, or is my setup ok?

Secondly I am wondering about the Tigerblack card (I know this is not the right place) but my question is regarding a trick, the "Rasing card deck"..

Is it really the deck? And if it, doesn't it exist here on theory11 to be purchased?

Thank you for your time reading my blurry post.
Romeo

Edit: Wrote Aces instead of david blanes Spades.. Sorry

I hate to break it to you, but if you can't do tricks or flourishes with a regular deck of Bikes, then you're not going to be any better with custom decks. They're not magic cards. Okay, well, they're cards FOR magic, but they're not mag... never mind...

Hey Romeo,

Firstly, Teddy's right, if it's impossible to do tricks with normal cards, you'll have just as much difficulty as with these cards. However, I know your english isn't perfect, which is cool, do you mean something else? There are lots of bad plastic cards or weird sized cards around that ARE in fact just about terrible to perform magic with. In that case, then yeah these decks will be easier to perform magic with. Nonetheless, the difference in handling shouldn't really be an issue - these cards you're ordering are good, but you should be able to perform something basic with bad cards anyway. Honestly, if you're happy with the design of the cards, all three feel good, so go ahead and buy them.

Regarding the rising card, no, T11 does not sell them here, you'll have to look at other magic shops. Just google search it, and try and find the shop with the best price, yes it is the deck.

Good luck

Thanks for all the replies.

And sorry for my blurry english, I think I've said it wrong.

I can do tricks and they work, but not very well. for example the double lift.. Works fine sometimes, some other times when i flip it, the cards gets seperated. With some decks it never does and with some it always do.. :)

I don't use normal bicycle decks either. When i said normal I meant those you buy in normal stores (here in sweden), the "normal" everyday deck.

The decks i am using now, that is extremely hard to do things with, since its so wide is a Casino deck (My fiance works at a casino so she gets me some to practice).

Anyways, thank you for your replies!

I've placed an order on Ellusionist for some decks, Total cost 110$.. Shipping fe, 50.50$.. Fine, i purchase it, (also purchasing the guardians etc from here), and i get a mail today that it will coast me ADDITIONAL 30$ to be able to ship it.
80$ for shipment?... :(

Hope Theory11 charges whats on the site and not "additional" prices after Iv'e paid.

Thanks again for all the support.

Romeo
