Changing My Techniques (Aaron Fisher's Tips)

Hey Guys,

So i recently read the articles on Aaron Fisher's 'Sleight Imporvements' archive, and i realised that my grip and pinky break were slightly flawed. They are minor problems, but while i've been trying to get used to the 'new grip' and new 'flesh grip', it doesnt really feel right, becuase i'm so used to my usual ways.

I have performed many times, and i have not been caught with a break before. I have adapted to my own style of holding the cards and breaks, so my question is this:

Do I need to spend the time changing my technique to the way Aaron described?

Although many of you will probably say YES!!, because hard work pays off, but I'm hesitant because I'm not sure if it is really neccessary.

Thanks!

Hey if your style works. Then stick with it. As long as you don't get caught and it isn't a problem. Use the force......

Go fishin'

Many men like to fish, and there's a lot of different ways to bait your hook. Your baiting technique might work for you, but if an expert offers to show you a better way and has his reasons, it might pay off to learn it.

Just a little analogy.

I don't know your technique, but often spectators will see something fishy (like a pinky break) and NOT say anything. But they see it and notice something is odd.

That may not be a problem for you.

Perhaps get a magician friend to watch and critique your handling. (I need to do that more myself)

;)
