I would say go with "Lit" 100%, Powerword Fall is not that great its not that differnt from any other effect that has been out before in that category. Wounded you have to buy the gimmick separted from the Effect itself. And Frozen is good, but go with Lit, come on man Dan white & Dan Hauss..cant give that up.

depends on your stlye, if your more into cards than lit would be a cool revelation. If you like bizzare geek magic get thread, etc. all i know is that im definitely picking up thread, wayne's effects never fail me and always add something special to a performance. plus think about what you will have to buy with the effect, does lit have refills you will have to either continue to buy or make? or would you rather just carry around a thread spool

get the other 3 except for

Wounded
Powerword fall

well i don't have any money i'm 14. So i'm gonna save up and choose one. I'm not much of a card magician, i really like coin magic. i think frozen would be good. Thread i just have the feeling i could figure out for my self if i just played around with my eye for a while. And lit... idk something seems wierd about it. Like i feel like it's just an easy switch. I just don't want to go waste my money on a no brainer.

I don't suggest playing around with your eye. It may seem safe at first, but hindsight is 20/20--unless you ruin your vision.

I don't like the look of Frozen at all personally. I mean if it's your style, by all means. But why? Why on earth would you actually want to freeze a coin? Seems like you'd need some pretty well thought out patter for this to make any sense. It just doesn't work for me. But still, it doesn't matter to me, it's your call.

i personally don't like Frozen. If you're a film student, you'll know how it's done.
and there's no point/fun in freezing a coin.

I <3 film

It really depends on your style, anyway - I'd never perform stuff like Thread or Wounded anyway. Just pointing out that magic doesn't always have to make sense - it has to if you're putting two packets together to make a steal, or if the trick is patter based - but not always like this.

I disagree. It doesn't have to to a certain extent but I find tricks that make no sense at all to be less powerful. I mean with Lit, the purpose of making the matchbox turn into the card is as a reveal. If it turned into an irrelevant card without a selection process, would the trick be as powerful? I don't think so. Again with Frozen, if there was a reason to freeze the coin, I think the trick would work a lot better.

Yeah, well, i guess it all depends on your presentation, on how you script your approach beforehand.

For example, for Wounded, i always use the "Human= Image of God; Bleeding Palm= Scar of Jesus Christ (Crucifixion)" approach. Got amazing reactions, got people trying countless of times to do what i did but failed. I'll never change the way i approach this effect.

So yeah, work on the story/lines/script, test it, if it works, it works. If not, make anew one n try again i guess.
