Hello everyone!

I recently saw a trailer for Daniel garcias new trick Fallen and it looked great but im not a huge fan of doing the same effect as everyone else will be doing so i searched around and found different effects that were simular and one of them were Chris kenners Elevator from totaly out of control and his book has some other effects aswell that im intrested in.

So my question is, Is it any good and practical? and how are the angels?

The S.W. Elevator is, for myself personally, not very practical. However, if you are one who can execute a fast and undetectable S.W.E. Shift, you will find this routine a walk in the park. The effect involves a total of three Shifts in order to maintain the illusion of a card rising throughout the deck. Perhaps I just need to practice more! lol.

Saying that however, Totally Out of Control is a fantastic book and I could not recommend it enough. There are certain effects in there that are absolute genius - such as Sybil: The Trick and DIET. There is even a "Please Do NOT Distrub" sign in the middle of the book that you can cut out if you want and stick on the handle of your bedroom door. It then continues to read, "I am reading Chris Kenners Totally Out of Control!" Plus, there are some hilarious illustrations as well, such as a "before" and "after" drawing of Michael Ammar -- one with hair and one without -- LOL.

Hope this helps,
Jordan

I have also had quite a time trying to get this one right, and for some reason I can't quite visualize what the shift is supposed to look like. Then again, I'm probably rushing it.

As Jordan said, if you get to the point where you can execute the shift quickly, and undetectably...then things should go smoothly for you. However, this effect will take plenty of practice.

The book itself is amazing, and there are some great tricks in there. I also, cannot recommend this book enough.
