I like the jump idea, nice way to produce a card.
I wouldn't personally use the clipshift as an ambitious card phase, simply because there are far easier ways to achieve basically the same results, but whatever works for you is good.
The force I think is a purely academic thing. Why would you be holding the deck like that, if they're taking a card? You're basically preventing them from taking the top card with your hand. Unless you put the whole packet in their hand and tell them to take the top card. But again, that just seems odd. Also, the clipshift uses a lot of finger movement to do its thing, and I really don't think you're going to hide that much movement while the spectator will be looking directly at your hand in order to take what you're giving them. Again, I think there are methods that are far easier and look cleaner.
