Hey everyone
I just got into a bit of coin bending. Although Ive seen quite a few before - Closer, Boa, Superman, etc. I was wondering which do you think is the best?
In my currency, the one I can bend easily with pliers is 10 cents and 20 cents. These coins are tiny beans. Any other coin in my currency is either too thick or it takes too much pressure.
I was wondering if there is any coin bending trick/ gimmick which will allow me to bend a coin of a good size with not a lot of trouble.
Any suggestions?

does this work for thick coins?
say a half dollar?
haha
pliers only work in my case for a penny sized coin without scratch marks.

kicking would work for almost all coin sizes. i have not tried with every coin so i would not be able to say. for big coins with no scratch marks, 2 pliers with some cardboard around the coin.

I tried that
what I got was
a ripped piece of cardboard, a big coin with scratchmarks, and sore arms.

I found that when I was using pliers to bend coins, to wrap it in a shammy leather worked best - You know the soft leather style cloth you'd use to wax a car?

You could also try buying a couple of pairs of pliers just for this purpose and file down the teeth so you have flat surfaces.

I'd recommend just buying a bender though rather than go thru the trouble. I use the same superman I've used for a million years, but I've heard the Boa is very good value for money from reputable sources!

Thanks guys
I found a method to bend almost every coin. Even half dollars. Im sure even jumbo coins (not gonna try).
its a not a machine but its a random thing in Design Tech (shop class). It holds the coin down and you push on a handle bar which pushes againts the coin at a angle. The torque you get makes it really easy to bend. Around the pressure of lifted a dictionary can bend a nickle flat in half.
