Color change? sort of...

So I just recently began to work on my interest in magic/cardistry literally, a week ago. I discovered that I like dealing with cards more than anything else. So when I found you guys I took a look and started with the simple, basic color change.

Turns out, my hands just barely cover the cards. So any movement of my hands gives away my effect. Any suggestions on how to improve this?

Could you be a bit more specific? You are referring to the classic color change (also known as the Erdnase change) taught for free here?

I don't really think that should be a problem. If your hands at least barely cover the card, it should be fine. What exactly do you think is going wrong?

Maybe it's just me. In the video it just seems so fluid. I suppose I just need a lot of practice. Keeping my hands steady and only moving the top hand. Practice

Yep, once you put a little more practice into it, you'll have a great Erdnase in no time Don't be afraid to PM me if you need any more help with it in the future.

dude. ive been doing magic now for close to 9 years. and quite frankly my hands are small as hell. just take it slow, practice in front of a mirror, slowly increase speed, ensure your not flashing, and your hand size will actually have nothing to do with it. i have actually had it apply as more a helpful thing than anything else. as spectators have actually said " look at his hands, he cant fit a card their" -.- lol but donnt worry keep practicing.
