Control problem

Hey, I'm going to try my hardest to ask a question without revealing it, ok.

But in the effect "Control" when I'm doing "the move" to slow my pulse down and stop it, my hand kind of jerks just slightly, barely. I've been called on it a few times and the best thing I could come up with is me moving my leg.

Any suggestions?

try CONTROLing it (ha wordplay)
but yeah just practice until you don't do it any more
but if you need an excuse just think on it all night until you make up a good one like i twitch when i'm unconcious or something?

hey check ur pm i sent you...i like the idea of using an excuse if necessary, just not the one stated above exactly. if ur unconcious, how would you know wut you do while ur unconcious, but the general excuse idea is good

Has anyone else tried taking your 'pulse'?

I haven't tried it with anyone yet, but i find it easier to feel it when reaching around my wrist and taking it from the outside(right), instead of just putting my left hand on my wrist from the left. If that makes any sense to you at all.

So i believe it's easier for the spectator to feel it because they feel it from the right side..

Hope it helps..

I've had the same problem, but I haven't gotten called out on it yet so I don't know what to tell you... you're not the only one with a control problem though :)

Umm... how can I say it... Didn't understand a thing XD
I asked my mom (well, you know) to take my pulse and she didn't feel anything.
Maybe the move I'm doing is not just as wayne taught it? Can somebody give me some sort of advice?
Thanks.

Im like 1/10 with control... Very easy to get called out. Just try to work that muscle untill you can get it to do its thing, without anything else moving.

I had the same problem, with my hand twitching. It was similar to what happened to RandalL. I found that by completely opening my hand as wide as it good go, the flexed muscles... well... you get the idea. Let's just say your hand gets closer to being a rock than a piece of meat.

Hehe.

Whoa, exposure?

Not trying to be mean or anything like that... but that may be getting pretty dang close to what you don't want to put on the forums.
