Could I Get Some Feedback On My Control?

Okay so I've been working on a control I call the Dribble Control for a while now and I've posted a video of it so can you guys let me know what you think of it.

Here's the link:

Thanks,
Charlie

Looks cool, but it has been done before, It is a Herman pass right? Disguissed with the dribbling of the remaining cards, it's cool because it justifies the squaring up of the cards at the end, But as I said, it has been done before.

Another pointer, I imagine this being cool for maybe two or three people max, I can see some angle sensibility there, maybe from the direct front, left and right, so that's why I think you used the "eagle" point of view for it.

Then again, if it's not a pass related sleight, then I can say that you fooled me :)

Thanks. And actually it's not a pass. The only card that moves is the controlled card and the rest of the deck stays in normal order. It is a bit similar to a pass though. And what you described with the angles is exactly what I was thinking.

It looks to be a variation on the Venus Trap. I could be wrong though.

Um...I don't really see in any way how this is like the Venus Trap. The Venus trap is a way of switching the top two cards and this is a way of controlling the card from the center of the deck to the top. Could you maybe explain where you got that idea from?

Hey charlie, if you can spare the money I suggest you buy this:

I kinda understand what you meant with the sleight, you may wanna take a look at that since it can give you some pointers to make your control better, it's not a dribble, but Im sure they can be a thing or two that you can add to your control man.

Haha. Its funny you said that because I just bought that control last night. I don't think I really copied this from that control though because I've been playing around with this for a while.

And also, yes the methods are a bit similar in concept but different in execution. It's hard to explain but I hope you understand a bit.

Im not saying you copyed, Im saying that that the "selection going to the top process" is where teh actions are similar :) I was jsut wondering if the thing you told me was similar to this. :)

Don't worry I just didn't want it to seem like I ripped it off. Anyway, yeah the actions are similar but they're executed in a slightly different way.

I am not here to judge, but first of all, your control is smooth. It looks like a WOW control.

Thanks for the comment. And yeah I know that now from some other sources. Thanks though. The way I see it, it doesn't matter if the material is self-created or not but it should look the same to the spectator. Besides, if I do this correctly the spectator shouldn't even see it.

That what matters the most.

You little stalker!
It's just a variation of the Venus Trap.

The Venus Trap is much more than a 1 for 1 switch. If you watch the preview video for it, he shows a control using the venus trap from the middle to the top. You pretty much just did the same thing except you used a dribble.

No....I did some research on this and it's actually the Wow Control. I'm 100% sure on that.

this is a marlo move, not sure if its called the wow or not but do a search on youtube or something before you post as there are dozens of "dribble control" videos some with credits. For the record, the venus trap is not an original sleight. He even credits sources for the move, he's just selling his handling. The venus trap is a variation of another move many of us know that isnt original either.

am i the only one who gets annoyed by the people who seem to think the dan and dave invented everything?

Well I'm definitely sure that it's the Wow control. But, for all I know it could be some Marlo move that the Wow Control ripped off.
