I just purchased Counterfeit a couple hours ago, I must say it is a pretty darn good trick.
Here is my detailed rating:
Method: 8/10
I knew how one part of the trick worked beforehand (due to a less than perfect performance online) however if you practice this for a little while it should be fine. The method is pretty easy to follow along for first time learners out there. I think that the method is pretty good as it isn't heavily gimmicked but isn't totally impromptu. What this means is that if you need to do this on the street on a moments notice it is possible to set up the gimmick relatively quickly. If I had to compare it to Ref4m I would say that Counterfeit is better (as the spectator gets to touch the card during the performance and keeps it whole afterwards).
Teaching: 9.5/10
The instruction for this trick was top notch. I feel that Wayne covers all the points to the trick in a very easy to learn way (good pace). The video quality was perfect and the angle it was shot at was great. Overall this is one of the better instructional videos on theory11.
Price: 9/10
While this isn't a cheap trick I believe it is worth the money. I think that the ease of this trick gives it a spot in my routine and will be one of my favorite tricks for a long time (or forever). If you are serious about magic and want a go to effect for street performances or really like to have a good trick up your sleeve (not literally) then this is for you.
Overall: 9/10
This is a good trick. It is neat, the method is good. It will not completely blow minds, but it will shock and amaze to some extent (it is a Torn and Restored after all). I suggest you buy it and have fun with it. If you cant find it for some reason it's over here -> https://store.theory11.com/products/counterfeit-wayne-houchin
