Hey guys....has anyone mastered D+M's Aces from the Mystique DVD? It's just a damn cool effect. I'm at the point where I can do all the moves in slow motion, but need to really speed it up before performing it.

I have a question and it concerns the initial position of the 4 aces. In the video he has the spectator shuffle the cards first but never explains how best to position the Aces. I don't want to get too much into the question as to not reveal the first move...so if anyone has mastered this, I'd really appreciate if I could PM you.

Thanks guys...and gals.

the first reveal.....hum....

Oh yeah!

But that's because ive 'mastered' Motion, the dvd that teaches 4Sybil, and the first reveal is part of 4Sybil. It helps to do sybil very slowly when you start, do NOT try to rush it. Once you can do it with your eyes closed, try and add some speed. The flick of the card is just a knack, btw ;)

(actually i havent mastered Twisted Rain yet...gotta keep practising :p)

Yeah, it's basically just mastering a flourish man, as far as speed goes, just keep at it. I don't particularly like 4Sybil, I think four ace productions like that are impractical as a flourish and only useful for camera, first effect or very distracted audiences. But Aces as itself is a nice opener.

As far as the controlling of the aces, just steal them, cop is fine, even just a normal palm.

if your not into the whole 4sybil part of the ACES,there is an option on D+M's one notes there is actually an an option you can either do it like he did on mystique or use Snap'd also thought on the motion dvd...

Thanks for the tip fellas, appreciate it.

I don't have the Motion DVD, so I'll just stick with the original Ace production. I'm getting there speed wise.
