First hi to everyone this being my first post. To get right to the point I am thinking or gettting either digital dissolve or Prophet, now both tricks amaze me and I will in the end have them both but have a question or 2 first. For the first question which trick is easier to learn or better yet the handling how bad is it for each...and for me the most important what will get the best reactions, kinda stupid to ask since I think they are both great but someone else may have a different opinion and I would love to hear it...Oh yes another question I see both require a gimmick so whats the deal can they be examined...? I guess thats it for now and I really appreciate any feedback... ; )

They are both great tricks, Prophet is easier in my opinion (to do) but i would recomend dissolve b/c I spend the money that i was using on Prophet Gimmick so now i cant perform the trick lol but I can perform Dissolve anytime, well unless I lose the coins

prophet pros:
visual
hard-hitting
everyone loves money
looks like real magic
can be used to achieve several effects, eg. paper to money
cons:
cant have all the bills examined
uses a gimmick (but so does DD so ignore)
specs may want to grab
handling is harder than DD
DD pros:
VERY VISUAL
again, everyone loves money
you are 100% EXAMINABLE at the end, and with a little work, at the beginning also
Very fair..
INCREDIBLY easy to do
Good for card magicians and general beginners
when specs want to grab, they can
Cons:
again, uses a gimmick
Currency may be under scrupilation in certain countries
If you use a specs hand, will require audience managament, nothing major tho
only has one routine on offer, but the gimmick can achieve different changes etc.
so the choice, as they say, is yours, whichever sounds more like your kinda effect... i personally just got prophet, and its so fun to play with, but DD is great for a 'quick, do a trick' situation, whereas prophet should be used at the right time...
overall, id got with DD personally, but if you want my honest opinion, by a book like CC or RRTM.... or BOBO'S coin magic if you like coins...
if you dont like books, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE DANIEL GARCIA PROJECTS, but of course, im trying to answer your question, not tell you what else too buy...

I was wondering the same thing. Anyways both are pretty visual, other than that people may feel alot more emotionally connected to prophet due to the fact there seeing five 1 dollar bills turn into 5 hundred dollar bills, thats something everyone wishes they could do. Personally i'd go with prophet.
ide say prophet, imo ide say its more visual but thats just me and i overall like it alot better..
yeh but keep in my mind that with prophet, you need more money to do it toms way... and with cash, they'll want to grab but they cant, but with DD they can...
