Price $5.95 (For 6 bucks if you are going to use this and apply it to your card routines, it is well worth it)
Ability Level: Medium / Moderate
Some time and handling with the pressure of the cards is to be expected. I had it down fairly
decent after about 10-15 minutes.
This is a must have for any serious card worker as Draven mentioned in his review.
It is a gimmickless, pure sleight of hand, 3 for 3 utility switch or a 3 for 3 color change.
This video is not very long because Nathan just jumps right in and gets after it. He starts out showing the visual aspect and wow...when done correctly if you blink, you'll miss it. It looks great! Nate then jumps right into how to accomplish what he just showed. You will need some basic card handling skills such as holding multiple breaks at once and reverse fanning 4 cards. Nate does a nice job showing proper hand and finger positioning to make the switch occur. He shows the move in slow motion and also displays what is happening under the spread as well.
In 3 Card Routine Nate shows an ace on top and allows a spectator to openly and freely touch 3 other selections. These are removed from the deck and are shown to NOT match Nate's ace on top of the deck. You can then put the 3 off cards with the ace in a 4 card spread. With a quick "flick" the spectator sees all 3 of their selections morph into the other aces. When done quickly and smoothly this is super eye candy. Obviously this does not have to be with just aces...any 4 of a kind will work or even have the indifferent cards turn into 3 spectators selections. I'm sure many of you will be creative. There is minimal clean up and nobody will suspect anything looking fishy.
In Utility Switch the spectator sees you lose the aces in different portions of the deck. This one you need to be careful because some coverage needs to take place over the bottom card and the out jogged cards need to be aligned properly. These get pushed in flush to be seemingly lost. Actually at this point all 4 aces are at the bottom and then are controlled up to the top to be revealed.
The only con I see as of right now, and this could just be due to the fact that I am new with multiple breaks is that your angle on your right might be a little bad. The more you refine your breaks the better. Perhaps some casual hand movement and tilting would help as well.
Doohickey Switch is a nice little download that I would recommend for you card junkies out there that like utility moves. I can honestly say this is worth the price tag. Check this one out fellas.
