Just saw Flicker a few days a go and have been testing it alittle so here is what i think:
Method:
The method i actually quite good. It may feel like a big thing at first, lenght wise i mean, because of the sleights used in it but after practising for awhile you get that the sleights arent that big and can be done quite quickly. I personally dont like the production. It just dosent fit me, but it really gives you some good sleights to use in further coin magic.
7/10
Sleights And Other goodies:
The Sleights are well explaned and can almost be done instantly be done. Although there is one sleight that you have to practise alitlle while, it just ist like a transfer of just palming a coin it involves some movement.
On the 1on1 there are some great things called handwashes. I personally dont do coin magic that much so i didnt know what those were. So, handwashes are "sleights" used to show your hand empty but those were some cool handwashes what you can easily learn and use for other routines with coins.
9/10
Teaching:
The teaching was very good. He explaned everything in detail (as always with T11 ). The view was almost always from over the shoulder so he always threw in that what flashes and what dosent.
9/10
Angles:
So the angles. The angels are somewhat big. You can do it to someone infront of you but noone can be on the side. So basically the front is the best spot. Doug said that he does this to a maximum of 3 people so that enyone dosent go to the side to get a better view (and they will, a magical view). On the 1on1 he explaned the angles so youd know.
6/10
The filming and editing:
The quality was great as always but it sometimes(for a good 10-15 seconds) showed the ground(they filmed on a kinda white back but it wasnt that wide and so the dark ground was seeable). That i didnt like. But all in all the editing was good as always.
Great Job!
7/10
So the conclusions:
Teaching: 9/10
Overall Trick: 8/10
----------------------------
Overall: 8/10.
I wouldnt reccomend this to a beginner because it does involve some sleights that are a bit difficult but if you like a challenge be my guest. It is actually a good thing to have. It has some sleights i think some of you should have in your arsenal and the handwashes were good.
Good luck on learning this,
And good luck Doug!
