In the book Down Under Deals, Andrew Wimhurst teaches, in a modified erdnase grip, a "one handed get ready" for the greek deal. However, it's a strike deal. I am satisfied with the concept but I can't seem to get grip enough on the bottom card to remove it.
Before a buckling action is mentioned, I'd like to make clear that what I'm asking for is if you have any advice or tips on how I can strike the card accurately without losing rhythm. In the book he mentions that the buckling action is to be used for stud deals, and I'd prefer to follow the text.... I just need a little help :/
Also my resources for this deal include but aren't limited to:
Down Under Deals by Andrew Wimhurst (Book)
Greek Deal by Jason England (Download)
How to Cheat at Cards by Daniel madison (Book)

Going on three months now. My practice sessions consist of alternate dealing (top, bottom, top, etc.) into a pile, followed by sailing the cards. Since I can't do the strike greek deal efficiently, I practice slowly and gradually build up speed. Yet every time I come close to a normal dealing speed I can't seem to grip the card and remove it.

6 month into practicing but still got same problem in 3-4 out of 10. Though i don't practice alternate.

By alternating the false deal, as if it were a 1on1 card game, I feel that it not only helps me form rhythm in the deal but also helps me compare and criticize my top deal from the false deal.
