Visually and instantly transform a blank piece of paper into a real $20 dollar bill right before the spectator?s eyes!
The market isn?t short for money changing effects. With Hundy 500, Switch, Cinch, and I think Gregory Wilson has one out there as well, there?s many different ways a magician can transform a blank piece of paper into a real bill, or transform one bill into another. So what makes Clean Cash any different from the rest? Instant respectability for starters, and it?s highly visual and can be done with multiple different types of paper currency.
The gimmick is easy to build and the DVD comes with a couple already in the box for you. It?ll take you a couple of minutes to finish building the gimmick, and you?ll only need some basic craft supplies like an hobby knife or scissors.
Clean Cash has a couple different variations to it. Marc teaches an easy version, intermediate version, and an advanced version. Each has their own unique qualities to them. Let?s take a look at each one.
The Easy Version:
This is a simple and very easy to do version of Clean Cash. The moves flow together in a single fluid motion and the transformation from blank paper to bank note is seamless. However you end dirty. You can clearly show the bill on both sides, but you can?t hand it out for inspection.
The Intermediate Version:
Basically the same thing as the easy version, with the exception that the move that changes the bills is done with one hand under cover of a hand wave which makes the change look very sudden. You still end dirty.
The Advanced Version:
Still very visual, like the previous two versions, but the handling of the gimmick and the bill is a little more intense. So instead of performing this ?out of the box? so to speak you?ll be spending five minutes fiddling with your grip to get it to look right. It?s not knuckle busting, but you still end dirty.
So you can turn a blank piece of paper into a bill?. So what right? Well what if you could reverse the effect? What if you could then turn a real bill into a blank piece of paper? We have that covered too. The moves are reversible, and you can easily create a magic bill as quickly as you can make it vanish. The only problem is you can?t as easily show both sides of the bill without some cleaver trickery. While Marc will teach you how to turn a bill into a blank piece of paper you?re going to be on your own to figure out how to show both sides blank.
In all these different versions the single problem you run into, which isn?t a problem for me but some people out there will want to do this, is you can?t hand the bill out for inspection after words. Good thing Marc though about that too. The final bit on the DVD teaches you how to modify the gimmick, and the handling, in order to end clean and hand the bill out for inspection. Bang on!
I love money magic for how practical it is. You can take it anywhere, it can live in your wallet, and you have a miracle in your pocket at all times. For a close up worker, especially a table hopper, visual magic that has an instant reset is invaluable. This is going to be a favored effect because of that. The only drawback to this trick that I can see is that the TV performance rights are withheld. So you can perform it all day long, you just can?t do it on TV. I don?t think that?s going to be a huge problem for most of us. You?re going to love this trick!
When I give my product scores below I am measuring them on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 Being absolute the worst score possible, and 10 being the absolute best, making a score of five average. The four points that I grade upon is Product Quality, Teaching Quality, Sound & Video Quality and Overall Quality.
Product Quality: 9
Good price, good magic.
Teaching Quality: 9
There are no performances for a live audience, but the teaching is spot on. Not too fast, to the point without a lot of fluff or filler.
Video & Sound Quality: 9
Sound and video were crisp and clear.
Overall Quality: 9
I loved this trick. It?s money magic that is visual, packs into my wallet, and isn?t hard to reconstruct when it finally wears out. This would have scored a perfect 10 IF it wasn?t for TV rights being withheld- but that won?t be a problem for most people who will buy this trick.
