First of all the dvd doesn't come out until the 23rd but Penguin gave everyone who preorderd this trick the free dvd download of it also a free Cold reading booklet, to ship with the dvd.
Now for the review-
I was extremely skeptical of any thing Jermay puts out but against my dismay I went ahead and bought Emotional Intelligence and I am glad I did.
There are actually two versions of this trick.
Version 1: Can be done on blank face cards, business cards,napkins,paper,index cards etc.....
Extremely easy to do, power full, and works 100% of the time.
Mine and Luke's favorite.
Version 2: like version 1 but must be done on playing cards/business cards and involves a gimmick.
The DVD is like two and a half hours long includes live performances,the teaching,a small segment/intro to cold reading also the 1 book you must buy to learn cold reading. Also this routine is good to practice cold reading with without being nervous of messing up.
Quality- very good considering I watched it on my computer. 9/10
Practicality- Anyone could do it. 10/10
Impact- plays HUGE 10/10
Gimmick- (only needed for version 2) if you use version 2 I guarantee you will be familiar with it.
Impact- plays huge 10/10
Overall- 9.9/10
