Elevator 2
Elevator 2 is a very cool and well made gimmick from the mind of Peter Loughran. Many people have their own view on the tricks that Peter Loughran has created and sold and some of them are busts, but this one is a little different and very cool if done correctly.
Gimmick 9/10
If you have elevator 1 then you may or may not have been disappointed and I can assure that this one is similar in design but much better and built to a much higher quality. The reason it is 100 bucks more than the original is because of a few reasons, the new and coolest feature costs about 60 bucks for what they are doing, another piece of equipment is manufactured better and much more silent and lastly will last you a very long time.
Instructional Manual 6/10
I was not very pleased with the manual since the most important move is not explained very well and the pictures are not colored which makes the gimmick much harder to see than it should be. This should have been a DVD and would have been happy to pay an extra 10 to 15 bucks for it to. Other than that it teaches many ways to demonstrate and ways to load the gimmick.
Effect 8/10
YOU LEVITATTTEEE. Though in all fairness it is only 3 1/2 to 4 inches but people will know that you are levitating. The biggest difference with this one is that people fifteen to twenty feet away who have the best look under your feet will not see anything but maybe a slight distortion that they will not even take account of. In the video they put it right under his feet and this is possible but only if you have a black mat for instance. The main problem is that they cannot look directly to the left or right or behind you, although I fix this by suggesting to get out of the middle and go next to a wall or something like that.
Difficulty 8/10
You will need to learn how to balance on the gimmick since it is under only one foot. Also to load the gimmick will take time and much practice, and using the new method will take even longer but is worth the time and effort. Other than those two obstacles there is nothing else besides working your angles.
Overall 8/10
You could go with Criss Angels levitation and maybe save money and time, but this is a great effect and if you really want a neat effect and have the time to practice and can manage your audience then get this effect for about 200.00.
