Sorry if reviews of these cards seem a bit redundant but i feel like there are a few points about these cards i have to stress ( kinda a review i guess)
Looks- the back design cant be truly understood until you have the cards in your hands but ill try. The silver design in the middle acts as a wonderful center point and all the silver designs are in a metallic ink that is elegent striking and beautifal and in fans the silver design closer to the edge makes the fan magnificent. Now here's something i've noticed when in different lighting the back design looks drastically different. In dim lighting the silver really stands out and the blue melds in with the black. In direct sunlight the glare is extremley ugly. In florecent light the card can be seen better and looks great. But in indirect natural sunlight (specific, i know) is where these cards transcend anything i have ever seen before. The blue becomes much brighter and stands out against the other elements and you can see every little intricate detail in the blue and the silver looks 3D almost as if the silver design is on the finish and the paper of the card has no silver design on it. The face cards are also a nice change and are plesent to look at with the new color scheme. So in looks these cards get a 11/10.
Performance- Looks arent everything and in the example of karnival decks that is evident. These cards have the new performance coating which is..... different. Straight out of the box these cards feel as if you dropped them on some dirty pavement and you have tried your best to clean them but there are a few grains of sand left between the cards and you get that unique feeling when you rub them together its that feeling but not nearly as bad. But despite that they still spread smooth and fan nice. Now the borderless backdesign plus the white faces make upside down cards near impossible to hide(unless its near top or bottom) and totally kills the double backer why not a blank face like D&D?? But this contrast makes any effect where a card is opposite direction difficult if i slip up once on my sandwich effect its over because of the intense contrast. All in all the finish is unique but not bad and the contrast between the borderless backs and white faces makes many effects more difficult then they have to be so i give them a 7/10
Overall- 9/10 i recommend you buy at least one of these decks if not because they are good cards at least simply because how striking they are in sunlight and will arouse curiosity in even the most serious of people.
* sorry for any spelling mistakes =)*
