Emotions...

Hi everyone!
I'm kinda new around here, and,as most,if not everyone of you,I have a little bit of a problem with my emotions when trying to perform for someone.
I know the routine, when I'm practicing it,I always get it perfect, but when I'm about to show it to someone...blaw,my whole confidence is gone.We all know that "the first impressions" is the most important, which is why I am so afraid.
Now,I've got 2 things I want you to "share" with me:
1.Can you recommend me some DVDs centered on this matter?
2.What tricks do you think are the best for the first impression,as I'm not going to show them BELIEVE or WITNESS...or something as big as that.I want to start with something easy and nice, something I'll gain my "reputation" with.

I know that most of you are just going to say: "Be yourself/Try thinking positive/If you don't try it,you won't make it" and stuff of which I'm aware of.

A'ight,I'm waiting for your replies.Thank you!

start off with very very simple effects things that take no moves all angles are good and are very simple. Starting off good with simple effects gains your confidence when you want to to things that are slightly more angled maybe require a pass or double undercut. if your really having trouble doing something simple like the biddle trick or a small ACR do a self working card trick look up the 13 card trick it works itself gets decent reactions but if you want simple and a reputation maker than a good ACR always has worked for me good luck just remember cool calm and confident

You want advice? Keep performing. Sure, you'll mess up, fumble with your cards, maybe even stutter a little bit or get shaky hands. The more you practice, the less nervous you'll get, and the more natural of a performer you will become.
