In the section Blind Cuts, the first method, which keeps the bottom stock while losing the top card is apparently erroneous. Mr. Martin Gardner in the foreword explains how it is incorrect and the picture does not match text. I personally think they do match and notice little difference between Mr. Gardner and Erdanase's methods except perhaps using a table and the direction of the cut cards....
Has this error been updated since the foreword, or what is more likely I am not understanding the difference and error in Erdanase's work.
I also find it hard to see how this can be performed and look like a good cut without a lack of attention from the spectator, does someone have a good link demonstration etc...?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
