Its been some time since i learned something new, i been working on a lot of my own stuff, and perfecting other tricks.
But i think its time for me to get something new. I know the Electric touch is said to be one of the best weapons of mind blowing out there, but the ultra gaff looks amazing. Price is not a issue, i just would like to ask what you would choose?
I do a lot of card work. never really used gaffs though.

whats your oppinion?

Pick up the David Stone DVD's if you haven't yet. I just got mine. They're quite something to behold.

Generation x is a beautiful dvd man. Even though people mock Brian for giving instructions in monotone , and the bad angles, and his obsession with the word Essentially, the one handed cuts on showoff routine of this dvd are very much explained if you listen to what he says. Just listen to his instructions, its like you're hearing an audio book.
Also, the routine is displayed in slow motion while teaching.
So if you want to learn, you can. But the only thing is some cuts like Joey's upside down cut are so tedious to practice because i can barely pull it off.
The castro cut was beautiful.
And his skill is kind of unparalleled.

Show off 3 is an great Dvd. Even if you don't wanna learn anything, you'll sped 30 minutes laughing non stop.
Although its marked explicit content.
I've been practicing The revolutions on showoff 3. They are difficult, no doubt. I'd say its the hardest card flourish Dvd compilation.

Ultragaff looks cool man. Even if you don;t get the 3 dvd set, you can be pretty much original with your effects, the deck would be around 30-35$ i guess.
Electric touch is just a gimmick using Static electricity, although it can be fun, but i think you'll probably have more fun with the ultragaff
:)

ok no one has really even answerd his question, it is not either show of or gen, x it is Electric touch or Ultragaff.

Get the ultragaff, but only if you don't have a gaff, wait scratch that even if you have a red or blue gaff i would get this, because you can mix all of the different cards together and come up with some killer effects. Now the dvds is great to it will give you a foundation and inspiration to make up other original effect while you can go out and preform great effects they teach you.

The electric touch is cool but seriously it is just a shock i could rub my feet on some carpet and go shock someone and say it is magic.

nooooo. get ultragaff. it will be your best decision. because ET is a gimmick that you have to carry with you and its a bit of a hassle. if you want to know why just pm me. i wont expose the trick but ill give you the basic concept of the gimmick.

no but i have seen the cards before and there are some cool stuff, and if you watch the gaff trailer it shows an uncut sheet you could pause it and look at it.

Well, first off you have to know that the Electric Touch is not and should not be used for just shocking people. Many people get the idea that that is it's only purpose. There are many possiblities, for example: When I am performing witness, right before I have them turn over the bag, I touch their hand as a convincer that the card has switched with the Joker. You could also bend water that is running from the fosset, turn on light bulbs. It also works great with Loops, or the M5. It's all about creativity.
