Expert Card Magic link glitch?

ok~ I just found something which is kinda interesting @@
I typed in the website address: www.expertcardmagic.com
HOWEVER, it jumped to dananddave.com @@

why does it happen???@@
cus I remember, expertcardmagic.com is another group of magician website which "Capcuts", " Recapped" and " Weapons of card shark" sold it there........

I am so confused..........can anyone answer my question???

Wow interesting I have no real conclusive idea why this happens, I though maybe since it can find the website it takes you to the most close related site to it...just an idea don't really know

It does this because whoever designed www.expertcardmagic.com (referred to as ECM henceforth forward) is loading www.dananddave.com inside something called an IFRAME.

Think of it like this:

ECM is the TV, and inside the TV, you are watching www.dananddave.com. However, the URL (web address) doesn't change because you're always on the "TV" (ECM). An IFRAME is like a viewing window into another site.

If that doesn't make sense, someone else who understands try to explain it in simple terms. :/

In other words, it's not an accident, it was done for a reason, and does not necessarily involve Dan and/or Dave in any way, shape, or form. I could make a site and load Theory11.com inside of an iframe; this doesn't mean t11 is affiliated with my site in any way.

As benjamind said, the site is being displayed as an iframe site - in html code, it's an inline frame - basically, a tv.

Take a look at this page - http://www.cyprich.com/2007/04/12/displaying-a-web-site-in-a-frame/

There are a series of two identical windows, each with a scrollbar - this is an iframe. The stuff inside the iframe is actually another web page.

So, for ECM, they made the iframe the size of the entire screen, rather than that small window. But apart from size, it's exactly the same - the stuff inside of the iframe is another web page - Dan and Dave's website. When you browse DnD inside the iframe, only the web page inside the iframe changes - on the outside, it is still the ECM site.

but then.........another problem,
how can I get into the "real" ECM site??@@
since I cant search it in google ( but I could do that before =\),
does it mean that......their site is down or something???

Well, I guess so - because right now, the ECM site is that iframe site, that's all of the ECM site, so yeah unless they have something they're not showing, that's it, probably site down or something.
