Finger Strain

This has been happening more frequently now as I continue to practice. Woke up this morning and my hands were really tight and I could feel the strain in my fingers. Especially with my middle and ring finger on my non-dominant hand.

Haven't picked up a deck of cards so far and have been focused on just doing some basic stretching exercises for my hands.

Has this happened to you? If so, how long to you give your hands a break before going back to your regular practice?

As long as it's not super painful, I jump right back in to playing with cards. You're using new muscles you've rarely used before, so you're going to get aches, much like you do when you work out. I found that powering through will help you get over the ache much quicker.

Yeah, it's not super painful and you are right it feels exactly like my other muscles would after an intense workout at the gym. Thanks for the advice and I'll definitely power through it.
