Flourishing/Magic Not fun?

Flourishing and magic are meant for fun and entertainment right? Well, I'm so frustrated with my flourishes or whatever I'm going to like... Well the main thing is.. I'm not having fun and I want to have fun doing what I do, so please someone (people) tell me how to make flourishing fun on enjoyable. thanks

First off if your not having fun then just quit. But if you really love flourishing than I would sugest practicing more, and more, and more. Soon you would get better and won't stop.

Which is why I don't film myself doing magic or flourishes XD.

But seriously, if it's frustrating you then just take a break from it for a while. Why not start learning another genre of magic and then go back to cards later? Sometimes it takes a break to make things fun again.

dont let yourself get fustrated over it whenever you mess up take it like whatever and try it again soon enough you'll get it right

Well if it's not fun. This is what i do. In my magic act I'll incorporate a quick small flourish and have my spectators aw over my awesome wonderful skills. Just do a really fast smooth Molecule 2 and they go bananas.

If you are not having fun with your magic then there is something wrong with your performance or your entire presentation and magic in general. I would like to say that there is a quick fix to this, but there isn't. What you need is some time to think about what you want to do with your flourishing/magic.

You have to realize that flourishing IS HARD. I never really got the knack for it and have therefore stopped it. I am still incredibly into magic but flourishing is a different story. Flourishing takes practice, Dan and Dave, Daniel Madison, and others will say the exact same thing. They didn't just learn their flourishes overnight. It took them very long times to learn what they now teach all of us.

Don't get discouraged, and think about what you want out of your flourishing/magic.

Keep on working

Get'er done I herd that once somewhere. But anyways yah man dont give up it can be frustrating when you are working with your flourishes but keep on training and it will come. Remember superman did not fly he started out leaping over buildings (for all you comic fans) go small simple make those move fluid, smooth like butter. Than experiment and build that is when it becomes addictive. Must go my deck is calling me.

i agree,take a break from flourishing, focus on coins or somethig else that interests you.youll probably see something that will spark ya love for flourishes again.

When I feel frustrated like that.. I go straight for my pyro-magic box.. Makes me feel all warm inside
