It should last you a very long time if you use the same amount or what he teaches. Too much, will waste the gimmick. Anyway, if you have the dvd, you can probably but it somewhere else for replacement.

Maybe not as good but it should work the same. You should definitely try and it's super cheap.

I found replacement from alot of toy store for 2.50, it looks just the same, although i cant tell about if it works the same yet. hope that helps
