Gaff deck query?

Hi all,

Firstly thank you for welcoming me to this community... I've been a long time magic fan and have dabbled here and there with very basic coin and card sleights. But now my kids are getting a little older I'd love to delve into the art more seriously and open their eyes to this wonderful world.

On to my post however, I recently moved house and unpacking came across a bicycle deck where the faces are split half QoH and half normal and the backs are split half red and blue, I know obviously it's a gaff deck but even after some internet searching around I cannot seem to find out what the intended trick/effect is meant to be. I can't remember, and if there was an instruction card with the deck it has long gone. I'm more curious than anything...

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated and I'm looking forward to my journey! Also apologies this is my first time posting and not 100% sure I'm in the right area.

Thanks,

Matt.

Matt:

Welcome to the forums and welcome back to magic. Feel free to ask any questions if you need direction where to begin (again) in learning.

I'm stumped on the gaff deck, but haven't given up. Do you have some pictures?

Hi Matt,

Welcome to the community! Super glad to have you here, and we are excited to help get you back into the art.

As soon as you said half Queen of Hearts and split color backs, I immediately remembered a deck made by Magic Makers called the Knockout Deck. You can find it here with a performance of the effect: https://magicmakersinc.com/collections/decks/products/bicycle-knockout-deck

Fairly certain this is the deck you are describing, but I could be wrong. Let me know if this is accurate.
