Hey all

I just bought Out Of My Mind by spidey.
First of all I want to recommend to all of you about that awesome card trick.
The other thing is when I give the spectator to shuffle the deck, I don't want to say much because i don't want to reveal here the secret of that card magic, but if someone has bought that magic I will be very happy to get some help.

again, the problem is when I give the deck to the spectator to shuffle, it's ruin the magic.

thanks a lot ...

Yeah, I had the same problem actually. I just think you can shffle yourself or let a spectator that YOU'RE SURE He'll be doing a riffle, shuffle the deck. :)

There are easy ways to make sure they do a riffle. Set the cards on the table, mime a riffle, and say shuffle the cards.

And say something like: "Let`s do it the Casino Way" or something like that to give a clarification why they should shuffle that way and mime a riffle shuffle. I don`t think it`s mandatory in America, but where I live a riffle shuffle is not used much in private games. Give someone a deck of cards here and 80% would do an overhand shuffle.
Most do know however that a riffle shuffle has been used in Casinos and therefore has to be a "better" shuffle. That`s the reason I always have to clarify why they should mix the cards that way without giving importance to it.
A little ruse by Juan Tamariz is to start riffle shuffling by yourself, but do not push them together. Instead, spread them so that the spectators can see the mixed state of the cards and let a spectator push them together. That gives a good mental picture/anchor so that they think they have shuffled the cards if you remind them (say something like "Do you remember you have shuffled the cards before" and mime the action of pushing the cards together) before the finale.
