Hey, I'm looking for some good coin magic dvds or some good books. I have already gotten Bobo's, and I'm looking for something new. A book or a dvd with both coins and cards is good to because I do both. Only one thing- I can't get anything expensive. So yeah, suggest away.:D

He said he already had Bobo's I second the Roth DVD's Ammar has some aswell that are very cheap and very good. Once you start to pick up the basics Totally Out of Control has some of the nicest coin magic I have seen.

I know, he should keep going through it. I always find something new to try when I go through it every now and then.

Well it depends.

Carneycopia has a WIDE set of effects in it from napkins, forks, coins, cards ect.

Totally Out of Control has more cards and coins with the occasional bits of rope and such and you seem to have your eyes set on learning coin magic so i reckon to start with go with Revolutionary Coin Magic.

The Other two books have some amazing magic in them though!! Especially Carneycopia:p

Oh, well carneycopia is really a great book. No doubt. The material is all just top notch. I don't have tooc so i can't say anything about it. But for the money dude, rev coin magic has a **** load of material (good material. You'll learn a lot). Its really one of my favorite dvds. I must have re-watched it 20 times by now and i almost always pick up something new or notice something great that i didn't really see before.

Most peoples qualm with dvds is that you don't get as much for your money as you do with books. Generally this is very true. But with rev coin magic you don't have to worry about getting your moneys worth.

If you're looking for two AWESOME coin effects that actually have a premise and payoff, check out:

Gadabout Coins Revisited

Butch, Ringo and The Sheep
http://www.thinklikeaconjurer.com/all24rbps/butch/index.htm

For $10 each, I can't recommend these highly enough. Instead of the "coin juggling" often associated with coin magic, you actually get a fully developed performance script that makes sense and entertains.
