Uh... Yeah. After all that talk about me hating custom decks... I bought one. Yes... In this case it would be quite fair to call me hypocritical. But I had to see what all the hype is about!!!

Ok, so in the same manor as I review DVDs, I will review this.

T11 said what? That's right fool.

// Don't worry. They protect themselves.
It has arrived. A deck whose design itself stems from the foundation of Bicycle's classic Rider Back design, only rejuvenated in a more refined, intricate, industrial, modern aesthetic. This is what the classic Bicycle Angels look like. On steroids. Never before has a deck of this quality and level of intricacy been produced. Never before has this much attention to detail been manifested through a pack of playing cards.

And, once again, they didn't lie. The design is beautiful and modern, and the quality is phenominal.

The Case:

The card case is great, showing the back design on one side, and a wonderful chariot seen on the other. The bottom has a T11 symbol on it as well.

The Design:

Whoever designed these took a KILLER amount of time working on them. It is almost as if they just took a blank piece of paper the size of a card, and just wrote on it for hours. And redid it. And redid it again. Seriously, you have to hold these to believe the level of detail on the back of the cards.

Another thing I would like to point out is that the black cards (I.E. Spades and Clubs) are much darker than regular bicycle cards. The red cards are like a beautiful blood red as well.

The Quality:

The quality is fantastic. These aren't any thicker than bikes, but they fan better and feel a lot smoother. And here is the thing; before I bought these, I thought that "Hey, they are lying. There is no difference. You can't tell."

I was wrong.

It is an obvious difference, to me anyway, and I have to say that I am very happy with it. I would also say that I would use these in an actual performance. I was tottally against that too, but then I saw them. These would pass. I can just tell.

Price:

The price is 5 bucks a deck, singly, if you order 6 you get ten percent off, if you order a brick, you get 15 percent off. Yeah, they seem expensive, but look at ellusionist...

Durability:

I can't say much, seeing as I have only had these for about an hour, but I have been playing with them non-stop. They are durable.

Overall:

These cards are fantastic! Like, really. I LOVE these things. They have won me over. I am sorry, but they have. Try a deck and I bet they will win you over too.

And, not to sound like a talking billboard, but my only regret about this deck is that I only bought one. Seriously, they are that good.

Disclaimer:

Theory11 didn't pay me to write this: This is my honest opinion.

Also, sorry that it isn't longer or the calibre of my other reviews; I just really, really like them and it is hard to review a deck of cards. If there is anything you would like me to write in and add to the review, please post so below.

And for those of you who think that T11's shipping is expensive; you are just spoiled to free shipping. And no complaints from a company that shipped them out 20 minutes after ordering and I got them 3 days later for 5 bucks.

I bought these with Control, which I will also have a review of soon.

Peace out!

Nice review but the Guardians Deck is not a trick deck. It's just a costom deck. Just to clear things up. =)
