Hello everyone :)

I have been thinking about getting a Haunted pack or a rising card effect.

I have been looking into Box monster or E`s Loops dvd set? are they any good? How are the effects on the loops dvds?

I just seen Kranzo perform his haunted pack last Sunday at his lecture and it's really good I would invest in his stuff if thats what your looking for. And Box Monster is exceptional I have been using it since it's release a couple years back and it's a great effect.

I would recommend two things to you.

LOOPS All 3 volumes are great. They all teach insane stuff.

The Cloak
I don't own this, but I have only heard good things about it and it's made by Justin Miller whom really only releases good material from what I've seen. It's not Loops though.

These 2 things are probably the best you can get.

If you want some ungimmicked methods check out Fred Robinson's Ambitious Riser move, probably best taught by Ray Kosby on 'Impossible Card Magic' though admittedly it's not taught in the context of a rising card effect, still, should be obvious enough how to use it. Chris Kenner also has a variation on this called 'Schwing' which is available as a 1-on-1.

Also Danny Garcia's ... dang I've forgotten the name of it. Well anyway MOTION, that's it, motion on DGP vol. 3 I believe is a nice rising card type effect which requires no gimmicks of any kind.

Yes I do type as I think.

I'd go with loops, since they are more versatile and getting the dvd set or just one of the dvds gives you more individual effects than just box monster, plus the effects are all strong and will grab the audiences attention. I just saw Kranzo perform with loops lastnight and I'd never used one before and I have to say I think I'll be picking the set up soon.
