to be honest this site is a load of **** no one helps and you are bothered about punctuation why should i take my time and type slower just to make it look better not like you cant understand it unless your retarded.
Ah, the wonders of
that crowd of people over there. Beautifull;
The hot shot cut is a very tricky move, but what it all boils down to it, all it is a a knack. If you have the cut down properly (which I would know If I understood what you were typing
) Then you have the basic idea down.
Sit down, watch television or read something, and whilst you do that, keep placing cards manually in the center of the deck and flicking them out. As with all knacks, practise will achive results.
Now, The problem may be that you're not executing the flick correctly - which is normall - it happened to me, even. Gosh!
Try to experiment with different grips of the deck, one way I find helped was to hold the deck between your pinkie and ring finger and the thumb, at the bottom of the deck, and have it slightly higher than mechanics.
That way, you have control of the outjogged card with
both your middle and pointer finger. When you flick the card out, dont bend the card upwards. Try to maintain contatc with the card only by the tips of your finger,s, and rapidly curl them diagonally over the deck.
Sources you can also recieve pointers from are the Trilogy disk 3, by the Buck Twins, tutorials (unadvisably) on video sharing websites or (I believe) books. That's right, the things with paper squares cut out and attached to big hard planks.
The Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes is a great book, which I believe contains the mechanics of the Hot Shot cut. Jerry explains everything beautifully. Ben Salinas also has a dvd which explains the move thouroughly.
Hopefully, we may have changed your view of this forum. And the internet in general, because some of us prefer to have an educated conversation about topics that interest us and provide a means to better our understandings, something only feasable if your cohort has gotten over 'youtube comment' spelling.
Failing this, get back over to youtube - and while you're at it, see how much help they can be at bettering your Anaconda dribble.
