How's my routine?

I thought I might post my 5 -10 min routine that I perform for people so that improvements can be made to it.
Please feel free to criticize as much as nessesary.

Open - Invisible Deck, I do this to attract peoples attention, then I put the deck away and pretend to walk away, this will often lead them to ask for another trick where I simply pull another deck out, normally from the same pocket.

Middle - ACR, a firm favourite of mine, lasts a couple of minutes, will either end with a pop up or a French Kiss (David Stone Vol 2).

Later - Biddle trick, I LOVE this effect, I strive to includ it as it is so simple, you can take as long as you want on this as it is 99% build up but there is a lot for the spectator to watch as well which keeps attention.

Finish - People then normally ask if the deck is fixed so I do Stigmata as a finish which works well.

There you have it a sample routine that I normally use for random people, what do the experts think...

Thanks

Chris

I'm no expert, but I think that you should mix your effects up a little more for this routine. If you are performing the Invisible Deck, why perform the Biddle Trick? They both lead to a similar climax (one card being face down in a face up deck). I would try not to do that. The same thing goes for Stigmata and the Biddle Trick, both are reveals. Try to mix it up, the audience will get tired of reveal after reveal.

Here's an idea for you.

Stigmata -> Use the same card used in Stigmata for the ACR -> Another effect that is not a reveal nor an ACR -> End with the ID.

Hope I helped!

I would disagree that Biddle's climax is the card in the middle of the deck, though definitely up to personal performance.

The climax in my Biddle routine it disappearing from your hands when you just so obviously showed them it was in the pack!
Them seeing it in the deck is just proof of it!

Think of it like this...

I show you five cards, one of which you have previously chosen, then suddenly it disappears!

In respect to performing "real" magic, THATS what it happened, not when they see it in the deck. Thats proof, and a second climax!

Routine

Maybe you should open with something small but amazing like a "here then there" or "2 card monte" to establish your "skillz" (note: try not to do both because both aren't very different to laymen because both miracles occurs in their hands) then do stigmata.... Use the card they picked for stigmata ("pick a card" gets old) for ACR try not to end it with the "braue pop-up" incorporate it but end it with something impossible like "folded card to mouth" or "folded card to zipper case in wallet" give it to them as a souvenir (not the one from your mouth :) ) Then as you are leaving they might ask to see another one and then say i do know this one trick with an invisible deck and then ask them to pick an invisible card then...................i'm sure you know the rest

On this topic may I also share my routine:

Firstly I ask my spectator to think of any card in the deck for the 'invisible deck trick' and tell them I will come back to it later.

Opener: SpongeBall routine- I do this show that i can make things disappear from one hand to another. This theme leads up to witness..

2nd Trick: Witness- To show how i can also transpose cards from hand to hand through a plastic bag.

3rd Trick: Distrortion- To keep the theme, I tell the spectator that it wasn't fair of me to not tell you that the card would get into the bag, so I will actually show you how it is done.

4th Trick: Svengali Deck- To somewhat keep the theme, I tell the audience that I can even make cards jump from the middle of the deck to the top, and also make it look like i have a whole deck of the same card because I am so fast at moving cards from one place to another.

Finish: Invisible Deck- By this time the spectator has almost forgotten the card i told the spectator to think about, and stress that no one but he/she knows that card. So i build it up to show that I can also take a card from her head and magically make the deck find it by turning it over.

Thats it... Feedback would be nice TY ^^ Don't be TOO harsh.

p.s I chose mostly gimmick tricks because they usually have the best reactions...
