Check out Harry Loryane's Best of friends collection. There is some great material in there that can be done pretty well surrounded. But if you are just getting started, I would check out Paul Harris's Art of Astonishment series. It's a collection of 3 books that were some of the most valuable resources I had when first starting out. They are some of the most creative, clever, and incredible ideas I have seen portrayed in text in the past few years. Another great book you might want to check out is the original Stars of Magic by Louis Tannen. It was another book I got when I was a wee lad, and it helped immensely with learning the structure and timing of a routine.
I warn you, these are older books. They are things you WILL have to practice, and practice, and practice. But I also warn you that this material will completely blow your audiences away, surrounded or not. Happy practicing mate!
