I just picked up "Identity" by Richard Sanders and really love the concept of the effect. What's great about it is that you can a strangers' name appear on the card. However, I primarily don't perform for strangers and was wondering if anyone has come up with alternate presentations for the effect? How do you think you could perform it for someone you're already friends with? What surprise word could end up on the card?

Paul Gartner's "Heartbreaker" is an effect that is somewhat similar that actually uses the initials of their childhood sweetheart as a the "unknowable" name such as in Identity. This way, if you know the person, it is still very amazing that you could know the persons ex. It is hard to describe without giving anything away but you should check it out.
