Well yea, like a size limit, looks like they disabled avatars too

i'm really not too sure about signatures. it feels to me like they don't decrease the speed, but that's maybebecause all the forums i'm part of have size limits, so it wouldn't be possible for people to have a whole flourishing vid as gif-sig (as seen on the dananddave forum). so i think with a size limit signatures shouldn't be that big of a problem.

Nope, I emailed them, asking about if/when avatars will be up, and got this response:

Yeah, I have to say, when it comes to avatars and sig imgs, maybe it is better that we don't have them.

its easier for some things, instead of looking for names or whatever, you can just look for the sig

I disagree. I'm all for having avatars. They are small, what, no more that 80 pixels?

But the whole image sigs would totally be abused. Im glad we can't use them TBH.

....300*100 is the standard for high qual sigs, perfect size

i think an avatar pic is good enough. we don't need little "PWND" flashes covering the whole forums pages.

sigs are alright, me coming from a few graphics forums I understand why people would want them, it helps make you uniqye and distinquishes you from others. But I don't think they'd work well here.

Currently avatars are solely for official staff. Helps distinguish us easily from the rest of you guys, so you know when you're getting a message directly from T11. I'll let you know if and when avatars become available to all users.
